Although he spent just one season as a receiver, the Houston Texans believe in Braxton Miller and he is dedicated to proving them right

A two-time player of the year and Heisman Trophy candidate, Braxton Miller comes to the NFL with a lot of questions about him. The reason for that is because he earned his accolades at Ohio State by playing quarterback and now looks to finish his transition to the receiver position.

One good thing for Miller is that he does have a full season under his belt at the new position, as he made his switch before his final season as a Buckeye. The 6-foot-2 player caught 25 passes and had three touchdowns, while being credited with just one dropped pass in 2015.

He now joins the Houston Texans intent on making it as a quality receiver in the NFL. So far he has been making the right impression on his coaching staff as he aims for that goal.

"“Yeah, I think the thing with him is he works at it he wants to pick things up,” Texans wide receivers coach Sean Ryan said per Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle. “He wants to be good. I think he’s got a little chip on his shoulder understanding that there were some people out there that thought there would be this large learning curve for him and weren’t sure about him being a receiver.“I think that helps to fuel him and he’s a competitive guy. He wants to learn and he’s smart enough to learn and those are the two biggest factors to me.”"

Miller possesses incredible speed and versatility, something the Texans most likely will employ in a multitude of ways. Not only could he see time as a slot receiver during his rookie year, but Miller could also serve as a return man on special teams while also finding ways to get the ball out of the backfield.
