Brock Osweiler, QB

In perhaps the biggest move of the entire offseason, the Houston Texans were able to lure Osweiler away from the defending NFL Champions, the Denver Broncos. He comes to Houston with a big contract, and some huge expectations as well.

Vitals
Height: 6-foot-7
Weight: 240 Pounds
Career starts: 7
Passing yards: 2,126
TDs: 11
INTs: 6

Thanks to his limited playing time, the fifth-year player out of Arizona State has question marks all around him as he enters his first season as an unquestioned starter in the NFL. He also takes over for a team that has struggled to find any consistency whatsoever at the position for years.

While the questions are legitimate, the fact is Osweiler has played in some big games, which included game winning drives against the New England Patriots and the Cincinnati Bengals, both of which were playoff teams in 2015.

Now in Houston Osweiler will work with a head coach in Bill O’Brien who gets more out of passers than anyone. Look for him to maximize the natural talent that the new Texans QB has. Together these two will figure out how to silence the critics.

However, it doesn’t mean that he will be the offensive MVP in 2016 for Houston.
