Charles James II
An absolute fan favorite after showing off his personality on ‘Hard Knocks’, Charles James II originally failed to make the team in 2015 and was on the Baltimore Ravens practice squad. In October he was waived by Baltimore and came back to Houston.

The reason James was let go was mostly due to his lack of size and the players ahead of him. What got him brought back is his mentality as a fighter on the field. He can never be counted out, but most likely would need a huge preseason to knock Buoye out of his position.
James also has no more practice squad eligibility as he has now been in the NFL for three seasons. If Houston carries just four corners, James could be the odd man out.

Robert Nelson
Nearly identical in stature to Charles James, Robert Nelson will also be vying for a job in the Texans secondary.
