Kareem Jackson

Drafted 20th overall out of Alabama in 2010, Kareem Jackson played well enough for the Texans to extend him a four-year extension worth $34 million just before the 2015 season began.

Vitals
Height: 5-foot-10
Weight: 188 Pounds
Age: 28
Career tackles: 337
Career interceptions: 12

The one knock on Jackson is that he averages just two interceptions per season. That paired with the fact that he has never been named to a Pro Bowl made the $34 million deal seem a bit high, but the team feels very strongly about what Jackson does for them.

What Jackson does do well is step up and provide support in the run game and he’s a willing tackler who isn’t afraid to get dirty.

Look for him to continue to cover number one receivers for Houston, a job he may one day surrender to Kevin Johnson, but not just yet.

2016 season prediction: 50 tackles, 2 interceptions
