Possible starter number two, Quintin Demps

Quintin Demps wasn’t even supposed to be a part of the Texans in 2015 as the team was counting on Moore and the man who Demps replaced the season before with the New York Giants, Stevie Brown. The team wasn’t seeing enough out of Brown or Moore though so in August they brought in Demps, who previously played for Houston from 2010-2012.

Vitals
Height: 5-foot-11
Weight: 208 Pounds
Age: 30
Career tackles: 244
Career interceptions: 12

Demps is definitely the veteran of the group and stepped up for Houston in 2015 by registering 61 tackles, six pass deflections and one interception while starting 13 games.

The team hopes to find some young talent to beat Demps out, as evidenced by the one-year deal they gave him in the offseason, but should no one step up, Demps could very well be the starter again this coming season.

If he happens to line up next to Hal, it wouldn’t be a terrible thing since he at least delivers whenever called upon.

2016 season prediction: 45 tackles, 2 interceptions
