The NFL top 100 list is being revealed, and so far no Texans have made the list. Which players will make it?

So far, 30 players have been revealed on the NFL’s top 100 list. There have been players from all other three AFC South teams on the list, but no Texans. Here are the other AFC South players that have been shown on the list:

Colts: Andrew Luck (92)

Jaguars: Allen Hurns (89), Telvin Smith (83), Chris Ivory (78)

Titans: Delanie Walker (82)

Let’s take a guess at who from Houston has a chance to be on the top 100:

J.J. Watt (100% chance)–Yeah, I don’t think Watt needs a lot of explanation. He led the league in sacks with 17.5 last season, and people said he had a down year. As if. He was the #1 player on last year’s list, but with a down sack total I imagine he could fall from the top spot, perhaps in favor of a quarterback. However, he’s still a top five lock.

DeAndre Hopkins (100% chance)–After catching 111 passes and gaining over 1,500 yards in 2015, Hopkins will make his first appearance on the list. I imagine he will be in the top 20.

Johnathan Joseph (70% chance)–The Texans had the #3 pass defense in the league last season, and the veteran corner was a large reason why. He had a career high 22 passes defended, and is still going strong entering his 11th year.

Whitney Mercilus (40% chance)–In his fourth season, the former Illini backer had a career high 12 sacks. He was tied with Muhammed Wilkerson for sixth in the league with that mark.

Brian Cushing (25% chance)–For the first time since 2011, he played 16 games and had over 100 tackles. His health was another important factor in the revival of the Texans defense in 2015.

Duane Brown (10% chance)–For years, Brown has been one of the most underrated tackles in the league. While he deserves to be in the top 100, his injury at the end of the year will certainly hurt his chances.

Arian Foster was #80 on last year’s list, the only player to join Watt on the list. There should be more Texans on the list this season.

Which players do you think should make the list and where should they be ranked?
