Houston Texans positional breakdown: Offensive line
By Randy Gurzi
Guard: Karim Barton
A Jamaican native with a rough past, Karim Barton looks for a shot to prove he is worthy of a roster spot with the Texans.

Height: 6-foot-3
Weight: 315
Age: 24
After playing collegiately at Morgan State, Barton was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles before ending up with the Cleveland Browns and finally the Texans. He is probably a long shot to make the team, but don’t count him out just yet.
Guard: David Quessenberry
If nothing else, David Quessenberry is a fighter as evidenced by his continued battle against cancer.
Vitals
Height: 6-foot-5
Weight: 307
Age: 25
It was disheartening to watch as head coach Bill O’Brien told Quessenberry that 2015 would not be the season he gets back on the field and his comeback had to wait one more season.
Now hopefully the inspirational player can make his mark on the team and finally become the player he wants to be. The odds aren’t in his favor as he’s way down the depth chart, but he’s beaten larger odds already in life.
Center: Greg Mancz
Greg Mancz was undrafted out of Toledo in 2015 and appeared in just three games for the Texans.

Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 301 Pounds

He was considered to have less than ideal strength heading into the NFL as a rookie, but was known for being a smart technician. He could surprise some people after a year of working with NFL strength coaches, but would have to beat out Tony Bergstrom for the job.
