The top rookie, Will Fuller

The Houston Texans were serious about opening up their offense this offseason. They seem to have done just that with the selection of deep threat wide out Will Fuller from Notre Dame.

Vitals
Height: 6-foot
Weight: 186 pounds
Age: 22
Career receptions: 144 (Notre Dame)
Career yards: 2,512 (Notre Dame)
Career TDs: 30 (Notre Dame)

Fuller will most likely start low on the depth chart in training camp because teams like to make rookies earn their spot. Don’t expect that to last very long because this kid can flat out play.

People who have watched the rookie mini-camp have been impressed with his work so far and he’s even been complimented on his use of his hands in catching. That compliment is vital because the biggest knock on Fuller coming into the NFL was that he was a body catcher.

Look for the Fighting Irish star to find his way to the starting lineup before the season begins. He should become a great number two receiver in time, but will be a deep threat the moment he steps on the field.

Season prediction: 53 receptions, 755 yards, 6 TDs
