"“I like that they made it permanent,” said Novak, who made 18 of 21 field goals and recently signed a one-year, $965,000 contract to remain with the Texans for next season. “It only increases the value of kickers. The worst-case scenario is they take away the extra points or kickoffs. A little modification to our job, to special teams is good as long as it’s not taking away our jobs completely. They increased the difficulty, which is good. You should always find ways to make things tougher.”"
