They also made some odd free agency moves, like letting Robert Ayers and his 9.5 sacks go to Tampa for $21 million over three seasons and replacing him with Olivier Vernon and his 7.5 sacks for $85 million (with $52.2 million guaranteed).

Then came the real real head scratcher, giving defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul a one-year deal with $8.5 million guaranteed despite him only getting one sack in eight games following his bad hand injury.

Don’t expect things to change for the Giants as they didn’t change their coaching staff, they simply promoted everyone and let Tom Coughlin hang around.
