A lot of mocks now have the former Rebel going in the latter half of the first round and the Texans taking a receiver, some Treadwell and others include Josh Doctson from TCU and Will Fuller from Notre Dame. This is a fairly deep class of receivers and the Texans need to find a complement to DeAndre Hopkins, so it would not surprise me to see the Texans take a receiver. Of course, it doesn’t matter how good your quarterback is if you can’t protect him and it doesn’t matter how good your receivers are if your quarterback is under duress. That said, if the Texans can’t trade out and have to pick someone with the 22nd pick, going for Treadwell (or a different receiver) is not a bad option.
