3. vs. Jets, week 11, won 24-17
Ryan Fitzpatrick came back to Houston as a Jet, and did not take flight against his old team. The Texans limited the Jets to just 267 yards of offense and intercepted Fitzpatrick twice as the Texans went on to win 24-17. The most famous play of that game was DeAndre Hopkins burning Darelle Revis for a 61 yard touchdown in the first half to give the Texans a 10-3 lead at the break. In the second half Fitzpatrick hooked up with Brandon Marshall for a touchdown to even the game at 10-10 before Houston scored two straight touchdowns. Cecil Shorts got in on it as he threw a touchdown to Alfred Blue and Brian Hoyer found Hopkins for a 20 yard score. A Fitzpatrick touchdown run got the Jets back in it but ultimately the Texans prevailed. Hopkins tied Andre Johnson‘s single season mark with his ninth receiving touchdown of the year in the win.
