The Toro Times takes a look at how the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft could play out this April with our first round NFL mock draft


The offseason is finally among us, and perhaps the best part of that offseason is trying to predict what will happen when free agency and then of course, the draft hits.

The NFL Draft itself has become a spectacle, and fans can’t wait to see where their favorite college players end up going. Of course the best part is trying to see who may be available for your favorite team.

For the Houston Texans, picking 22nd is a bittersweet thing. It means they obviously did well enough to make the post season, but now they are in a tough spot in terms of drafting.

In desperate need of a franchise quarterback, picking near the end of round one won’t make that easy. It doesn’t mean they can’t improve though, and this first edition of the Toro Times first round mock draft will try and predict not only who they Texans take, but who goes where when NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is done calling names on April 28th.
