2. Lamar Miller, RB Miami Dolphins

As mentioned earlier, the Texans may move on from their star running back Arian Foster. If they indeed make this move, the best replacement via free agency may be Lamar Miller.

The four-year pro was a highly effective, but at times seldom used back for the Miami Dolphins. He had just one season of over 1,000 yards (in 2014) despite averaging 4.6 yards per carry in his career.

Miller is an every down back, even if Miami didn’t think so. On top of his 2,930 yards rushing and 19 scores he added 117 catches for 887 yards and three more touchdowns. As for his plans this offseason, he wants to go where he fits best.

"“Fit [is most important],” Miller said per ESPN. “How the team is going to use me to my skill set.”"

The fact he wasn’t a workhorse back in Miami would make him worth being a free agent pick up as Miller won’t have the same wear and tear as most fourth-year players. Plus, he will be just 25-years old next season.

He won’t make the fans forget about Foster, but he will make moving on easier if that;s the route the team goes.
