After a 9-7 season the Houston Texans have some solid pieces to build around and with some smart free agent moves they could become a real threat
Head coach Bill O’Brien led the Houston Texans to their second straight 9-7 season in his second year in charge of the Houston Texans. After slightly missing the post season in 2014, O’Brien’s team won the AFC South title and earned a playoff berth in 2015.
After a quick post season exit, the Texans look to continue to improve during the upcoming offseason, and they have some great pieces to build around. With superstar receiver DeAndre Hopkins and stud defensive end J.J. Watt leading their respective units, things look to be headed in the right direction.
With a successful draft and free agency, Houston could find themselves in great position to repeat as champions of their division. The biggest key will be to find free agents who can help, without breaking the bank, while also drafting intelligently.
Free agency is the first step, and there will be options this offseason to choose from. Here is a look at ten players that the Texans should at least consider during this stage.
