A full seven-round mock draft for the Houston Texans in the 2016 NFL Draft

The NFL Draft doesn’t begin until Thursday, April 28th but that doesn’t mean we can’t start to speculate on which direction the Houston Texans will head with their selections.

After bringing in a cornerback, Kevin Johnson, and middle linebacker, Benardrick McKinney, in the first couple of rounds of the 2015 Draft, will the Texans continue to bolster their strong defense by bringing young talent? Or will they use their early picks to finally get someone they trust as a franchise quarterback?

Here is the first, and of course way too early, seven-round mock draft for the Houston Texans. The mock only covers to the sixth round due to the Texans trading their seventh-round selection to the Denver Broncos for tackle Chris Clark.

Of course after the scouting combine and pro days things may change, but here is a look at how the chips may fall.

Next: Round 1
