Ahtyba Rubin, Seattle Seahawks, 29 years old

At 6’2″ and 321 pounds, Ahtyba Rubin has the size to take up the middle of the Texans 3-4 defensive line. After spending seven seasons with the Cleveland Browns, Rubin moved to the Seattle Seahawks for the 2015 season and started 16 games for them.

He finished the year with 36 tackles, two sacks and one interception for the ‘Hawks. At 29 years old he may not be a spring chicken, but he still has plenty of decent years left in him and could provide depth at the least for Houston, who has no other true nose tackles behind Wilfork.

Who knows, after coming to Seattle on a one-year deal, he was able to supplant Tony McDaniel as the starting defensive tackle. In Houston, he may do the same and could prove to be an upgrade over big Vince.
