Vernon Davis, Denver Broncos, 31 years old

The Denver Broncos traded for Vernon Davis from the San Francisco 49ers in November after he and 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick‘s public feud.

He now has a chance to enter free agency and despite a decline in his play, Davis still recorded as many catches in nine games as a Bronco (20) as the top tight end, Griffin, did for the Texans. Overall in 2015, Davis recorded 38 catches for 395 yards, but at 31-years of age he should still have a couple of decent seasons left in him.

While he did have an issue with his quarterback in San Francisco as well as problems with a former head coach there in Mike Singletary, the two-time Pro Bowl tight end could be out to prove he isn’t done.

With a full offseason and training camp to learn his new surrounding, someone could benefit from taking a chance on a player who looks to be on the back nine.
