Game: Jaguars (5-10) at Texans (8-7)

Prediction: The Houston Texans handled the Jaguars easily on the road back in October 31-20. Brian Hoyer was smooth and efficient, throwing 293 yards and three scores. DeAndre Hopkins was the biggest benefactor of Hoyer’s solid day as he had 148 yards receiving and ten touchdowns.

The two worked well together, especially to close the game out with a 21-point fourth quarter. After missing two games, Hoyer will be back and look for more of the same fireworks between the quarterback and receiver.

The Jaguars are actually better than their 5-10 record would indicate, but they still struggle on defense and really have nothing to play for. On the flip side, Houston’s defense has been playing lights out and they are playing for a chance to get into the postseason without worrying about any miracle tiebreakers.

Houston should handle this game with relative ease, much like the last meeting.

Final Score: Houston 34, Jacksonville 17
