"Along with offensive coordinator George Godsey and defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel, the coaches got quieter during certain portions of practice.“When it’s 11-on-11, it’s the players’ practice,” O’Brien explained on Monday. “The coaches, George and RAC, they’re on the side and they just signal the play in and the players practice. I think we made a decision to do that, so that we could help everybody understand what we were trying to do better because let the players figure it out.”"

Hoyer to start vs. Jaguars by Sports Illustrated

"Hoyer practiced in full on Wednesday. In eight starts this season, he has thrown 18 touchdowns and six interceptions“Today I thought [Hoyer] looked really sharp,” O’Brien said after practice. “It all depends on how it looks on Sunday obviously, but I think he’s looked good, he’s got good command of our offense and what we’re doing, and the ball seems like it’s coming out of his hand really well.”"

Jadeveon Clowney out of practice with foot injury by Sports Illustrated

"Houston Texans linebacker Jadeveon Clowney missed practice Wednesday with a foot injury, the team announced.Clowney, the oft-injured top pick in the 2014 draft, injured his left foot during Sunday’s 34–6 win over the Tennessee Titans. Head coach Bill O’Brien said earlier in the week that Clowney was day-to-day and that he had sustained no structural damage. O’Brien left open the possibility that Clowney could play in Week 17 against the Jacksonville Jaguars."
