Texans observations by John Harris, Houstontexans.com

"Boy, that couldn’t have really gone worse. The offense couldn’t get on track and it couldn’t find any consistency at all. The defense made some plays but gave up some important yards at key times. Here are my observations and they’re not pretty."

Watt disruptive even with cast by Deepi Sidhu, Houstontexans.com

"Playing defensive end in the NFL isn’t easy.Doing it with a cast on your hand definitely isn’t, but J.J. Watt doesn’t care. With a broken bone in his left hand, Watt is getting adjusted to having a cast as an appendage for the next few games.“First, one thing that I will say is that he will get more and more adjusted to having that club on his hand, without the use of his fingers,” head coach Bill O’Brien said Monday. “That is the type of athlete he is, that is the type of worker that he is. Texans control own playoff fate by Brian Kalchik, rantsports.com

"Nothing much has gone right for the Houston Texans this season, yet they have still achieved a 6-6 record and are in position for the AFC South crown. With only four games left to play and only one of their opponents currently having a record above .500, the Texans control their own destiny. However, this team has been incredibly inconsistent, so this will be a rough four-game stretch for Houston."
