Houston Texans All-Time Team

1 of 7

Even though the Texans have not been around very long as a franchise, it doesn’t mean there haven’t been good players suit up for the NFL’s newest franchise. Here are the best at every position that have suited up for the Texans, starting with the offensive backfield:

Quarterback: Matt Schaub

Not exactly what you would call the sexiest pick to lead off this slideshow, but really there is no comparison here. His competition is David Carr, one year of Ryan Fitzpatrick and half a year of Brian Hoyer. You could throw in T.J. Yates and Sage Rosenfels if you really wanted to be technical, but come on. In his time in Houston Schaub threw 124 touchdowns to 78 interceptions (though the pick-sixes were his last memory with the Texans) and well over 20,000 yards.

Running Back: Arian Foster

This one was easy. He has more than twice the rushing yards of Dominick Williams, who is second on the list. Foster has been the bread and butter of this offense for years, gaining 6,472 yards in a Texans uniform and found the end zone 54 times on the ground.

Next: Receivers
