Chris Polk, Running Back

When the Texans signed former Philadelphia Eagles running back Chris Polk, a person at the Toro Times who wishes to remain nameless was all on the Polk train.

However after 12 games Polk has managed just 3.6 yards per attempt and has managed only one touchdown on the ground and one through the air. Overall the fourth year rusher has 252 yards carrying the rock and just 95 yards on 14 catches.

With starter Arian Foster spending so much of the season hurt and second back Alfred Blue being less than stellar in his absence, Polk has failed miserably at his opportunity to steal snaps.

Instead, the team has continued to roll with Blue and Jonathan Grimes for the most part while Polk simply spells Blue occasionally. The Texans could be better served to bring in a rookie to take the roster spot once occupied by Polk.
