Game: New York Jets (5-4) at Houston Texans (4-5)

Prediction: After the game on Monday Night Football with a short week, I am wondering if the Texans are in for a letdown. They beat a team that was previously undefeated and played one of their best games of the year. The biggest thing is whether Brian Hoyer can go or not. I am thinking no based on the fact Brandon Weeden was picked up off waivers from the Cowboys.

My guess is they need a backup to T.J. Yates for this game. Still, I am not convinced that Yates will be able to get it done, even against a secondary that has been lit up in recent weeks. Darrelle Revis will follow DeAndre Hopkins all over the field, and who wins that one on one matchup likely wins the game.

The Texans defense has been savage in recent weeks, not allowing a touchdown in 10 quarters. The Jets offense doesn’t exactly inspire confidence, but neither does an offense with a backup quarterback with no run support. I’ve been pessimistic ever since the Miami game and it has worked out for the Texans, so why not keep it up?

Final Score: Jets 23, Texans 20
