Houston Texans Poll: Is it time to call Clowney a bust?
Stop me if you’ve heard this one before, Houston Texans outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney will most likely miss the next game with an injury. The second-year player is dealing with a back issue and missed practice on both Thursday and Friday.
"“He’s dealing with a back issue and it’s painful, so we’ve got to give it a little more time,” O’Brien said."
If Clowney does miss the Monday Night Football game against Cincinnati it will be the second game he missed this season, after missing eleven in his rookie season. The first overall pick out of South Carolina has managed just 11 games, with 8 starts so far. His injuries have included knee surgeries, shoulder bruises, bad ankles and now the back problem.

Credited with seven tackles in 2014, Clowney has added just 21 this season with only one sack. A far cry from what was expected for a kid believed to be the best pass rushing prospect in years.
Some defended the young man after his microfracture surgery last season by saying it was unfair to call him a bust. Yet, with his name surfacing on the injury report on nearly a weekly basis, as well as his own teammates seemingly growing tired of him, is it now fair to throw the bust label on him?
We turn that question to you, our faithful readers. Is there still hope for Clowney, or is he simply a wasted draft pick? Answer our poll and get the discussion going below!
