11. Beating Cincinnati back to back years in the playoffs, second franchise postseason victory.
After beating the Bengals 31-10 the season before, Houston found themselves hosting the same team once again in January of 2013. For Cincinnati, the second January trip to Houston didn’t go much better.
The Texans harassed quarterback Andy Dalton all game and he had a poor stat line of 14-of-30 passes for 127 yards with no touchdowns and one pick. Matt Schaub out dueled Dalton with 262 yards on 29-of-38 passing, but he too wound up with no touchdowns and one interception. Schaub’s pick was returned 21-yards for a score by Bengals corner Leon Hall, the only touchdown on the day for Cincinnati.
The Texans got four field goals from kicker Shayne Graham and a one yard score from running back Arian Foster. Houston won the game 19-13 and sent the team home for a second season in a row.
