16. In 2004, Andre Johnson gets his first 1,000 receiving yard season

2002 was their first season as an NFL franchise. In 2003, they drafted Miami wide out Andre Johnson who spent the next dozen seasons as the face of the franchise.

In 2003 Andre gave the team a glimpse of what they can expect from the Hurricane as he brought down 66 passes for just under 976 yards and four touchdowns.

While his rookie year was great, his second season was a milestone. In 2004, Johnson recorded his first 1,000 yard receiving season while becoming the first Texan to ever reach the mark. When all was said and done he totaled 1,142 yards and six touchdowns on 79 receptions.

Johnson spent the rest of his time in Houston being talked about as one of the top-five receivers in the game. He is still the franchise leader in receptions and yards after topping the 1,000 yard mark seven times in 12 seasons.
