Rookie of the (half) Year

Rookie cornerback Kevin Johnson has exploded onto the scene as of late in temporary starting relief of an injured Kareem Jackson. Just last week he nabbed his first NFL interception, and had 5 tackles (2 TFL), and 1 pass breakup. He shows some elite burst speed when breaking to the ball, and he tackles well for his size. He will only continue to improve, and it may become increasingly difficult to keep him off of the field. If he realizes his full potential, I can see him becoming one of the true shut-down cornerbacks in the NFL.
