Defensive Player of the (half) Year

Here I will place the obligatory J.J. Watt post. Any time the Texans are mentioned, he must be there also. Through 8 games he has 30 tackles (9 TFL), 8.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 5 passes defensed. He is a game-wrecking defensive lineman, and there aren’t enough hyperbolic adjectives to describe what we are blessed enough to witness week after week. Even when he is “questionable” going into a game (Week 8 vs. Tennesee) he destroys the competition. In that contest, he had 5 tackles, 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble. He’s just unreal.
