Texans vs. Titans injury report: Mettenberger gets the nod

facebooktwitterreddit

The Houston Texans (2-5) host the Tennessee Titans (1-5) this Sunday. Any Texans fans hoping to get a glimpse of the rookie quarterback on Tennessee will have to wait as Marcus Mariota will miss his second straight game with a knee injury.

Instead Houstin will face White Goodman from dodgeball, AKA Zach Mettenberger. The young quarterback has an interesting history with Houston as Texans defensive end J.J. Watt has called him out for his odd selfies and Mettenberger in return called Watt out for his horrific letterman jackets.

The Titans will also be without veteran receiver Harry Douglas and cornerback Perrish Cox. For Houston they will again be without corner Kareem Jackson and inside linebacker Benardrick McKinney.

The Texans brought over Cecil Shorts III this offseason to play receiver despite a career plagued with injuries and he will miss his second straight game with hamstring issues. The rest of the injury report can be seen below;
