Following two tough losses, the Houston Texans find themselves in the unenviable position of being 0-2 and at the bottom the AFC South. Their only hope of not being all alone in last place is if the New York Jets can beat the 0-1 Indianapolis Colts tonight on Monday Night Football.

Following a 24-17 loss in what I believed was a winnable game, the Texans have a lot of questions to answer as they move forward. Their offense needs a spark, their special teams needs to be more special and defensively they need to create more turnovers.

Obviously there is no one area, or person, to pinpoint and say this is where the issue lies. Instead there are a few areas Houston needs to work at to improve.

Head coach Bill O’Brien said it is a team effort and they need to coach better as well as play better. He also said despite the resiliency shown overall, he wants faster starts by the team, especially the offense.

The question though is where does the improvement need to come from, and how does this get fixed before the season spirals out of control?
