The perfect rebound game in my opinion. Yes the Panthers were a playoff team last year and actually won a home game versus a battered Arizona Cardinals team. This team is entering the season with major injuries and key personnel losses. Expect Cam Newton to try to put on his “superman” cape which won’t work out too well against the Texans defense.

I predict a multiple turnover game for Cam and a defensive scoring TD (cough cough Watt). On offense Houston begins to find his rhythm and seals the deal with some key plays to extend drives and perhaps a late score.

Final score: Houston 17, Carolina 10
