Prediction: The Kansas City Chiefs defense will prove to be too much for the struggling offensive line to handle. Without running back Arian Foster on the field as a threat, the KC defense will not lose much sleep worrying about Alfred Blue, Jonathan Grimes and Chris Polk.
They will be very aggressive in putting pressure on quarterback Brian Hoyer and they are fortunate enough to have corners that can be relied on to press and cover one on one. Offensively speaking, this is not the same Chiefs team that could not buy a receiving touchdown last season. New additions at receiver Jeremy Maclin and Jason Avant and running back Jamaal Charles (now healthy) will be more than a handful for the Texans defense to deal with.
Final score: Kansas City 24, Houston 14
