Special Teams

Shane Lechler. The man’s name is basically a sentence by itself. There really isn’t much to say besides that he will once again be the best punter in football this season.

Randy Bullock was consistent last year but in my opinion this year is the “tie breaker”. This guy is a former Lou Groza award winner and considering the investment that was made into this guy he should be performing at an All-Pro level.

Keyshawn Martin will be calling for fair catches..oops I mean returning kicks and punts (for now). Quintin Demps is an explosive returner who at some point will get some burn as the returner. This unit is still a huge question mark. I think that they missed an opportunity by releasing Charles James II, who was an absolute dog on special teams and would have been an interesting option as a returner.
