Houston Texans: Five players with rising stock after Preseason Week Two

On offense, the Houston Texans generally struggled in their 14-10 loss on Saturday night to the Denver Broncos. The lone scoring drive for the offense came on a 12-play drive led by third string quarterback Tom Savage.

The drive ended in a 32-yard field goal by kicker Randy Bullock and was the highlight of the night offensively for Houston. Their only other points came on a 69-yard interception return by outside linebacker Kourtnei Brown later in the third quarter.
The Texans and Savage got to the Broncos 31-yard line, but time ran out on the comeback attempt. However, even in a loss (especially in the preseason) players can still make their mark by putting some good tape out there for the coaching staff to use as they evaluate who will make the team as well as who will start.
