Grades for Hoyer and Mallett following the 2nd preseason game

Brian Hoyer’s Grade: C+.
In a statistically unimpressive game, Hoyer was able to make a lot more plays than Ryan Mallett. He was able to move the chains multiple times, but was unable to get the Texans into scoring position. There wasn’t anything in particular that Hoyer struggled with, but there wasn’t anything in particular that Hoyer excelled in. It was an average performance for him in general.
