After watching the ESPY’s, I was inspired to project the Houston Texans award winners for the 2015 season. Hopefully there is less drama with the award winners here. It was an overall successful award ceremony last week in Los Angeles. The ESPY’s were funny, celebrated the athletes, and also spent a lot of time encouraging people off the field.

The Texan’s own JJ Watt was nominated for multiple awards but didn’t bring home any hardware. However, he did flirt with Britney Spears as he introduced an award to the live audience. Despite not winning an ESPY for last years record breaking performance, he won the most respected award in the NFL community; he was ranked the best player in the NFL by current NFL players in the Top 100 list.

In a more serious version of the ESPY’s, this award show will look at just the offense (the defensive award show is coming shortly). Of course there will be the MVP, Rookie of the Year, and Come Back Player, but I also want to add the “Rising Star” and  “Best Offseason Acquisition” into the festivities.  I will skip the monologue and the usually awkward award introductions and jump straight into handing out the hardware. First up is the projected Houston Texans 2015 Rising Star award winner.
