Week 11: vs. the New York Jets

Right after the crucial Week 10 game against the Bengals, the Texans head home to face the New York Jets. This game seems like it may be an easy victory for Houston, but it may actually be a sleeper on the schedule.

The Jets have built yet another formidable defense, and this game will likely be a low-scoring showdown. Both teams have a lot of questions at quarterback, and I think the winner will be the team who has the best performance from the man behind center.

The Jets are hoping to rebound from a very disappointing 4-12 season last year, but some say they may even be in the conversation as playoff contenders come December. If they manage to have a good year, this game could determine some postseason positioning.

The Texans are in a tough spot in Week 11, because they are expected to win. What this means is that if they lose it will be a huge disappointment, but winning will only be what everyone assumes will happen. As much as a win against the Jets would help, it is nothing compared to how much a loss would hurt. Failing to get a victory here would be a huge confidence-killer, and put the team at risk of having a terrible second-half to their season.
