The “X” Factor

Once the Texans gain entry into the final act, there will be doubters among the crowd watching them.

There will be one player who can quiet those who doubt.

Enter Arian Foster.

Widely recognized as a talented running back, he still does not receive all of the credit he is due. Houston Texans’ field reporter John Harris recently did an in-depth exposé of just how talented Foster truly is.

As you can see from his detailed report, there is no question of how important Arian Foster is to the Texans’ chances of success in 2015. While missing essentially five games last season, he managed to finish top 10 in all major rushing categories. He boasted a 4.8 yard per carry average while rushing for just under 100 yards per contest, and he steps that up come playoff time. In the 2011 and 2012 playoffs, Foster averaged 128.8 yards per game and 4.9 yards per carry. Whoa.

Arian Foster, if healthy, can be a top-tier talent perennially. This gifted back will be a force to be reckoned with, particularly in the playoffs.
