Number Three – DeAndre Hopkins, Wide Receiver

It is a passing league in the NFL, which is why we return to the receiver position here for the middle of our top-five impact players. DeAndre “Nuk” Hopkins was a first round pick in 2013 and broke out in 2014 for 76 catches with 1,210 yards and six scores.

This season as the team turns to Nuk to be their unquestioned number one guy, they need to see these numbers go even higher, and many people believe they will.

"“Obviously, DeAndre Hopkins we think is one of the best in the league,” coach Bill O’Brien said this week, via Tania Ganguli of ESPN.com. “I’ve said that time and time again.”"

I think O’Brien is right and with the team set to turn the receiving corps over to his leadership, he should prove his coach right.
