Poll: Would You Want The Texans To Trade For Peyton Manning?

facebooktwitterreddit

Word broke out on Tuesday that the Denver Broncos may have tried to trade their star quarterback, Peyton Manning to the Houston Texans. According to the reports, Houston was not interested in adding the veteran passer to their team.

After missing the 2011 season as a member of the Indianapolis Colts, Manning and Houston were linked to one another as he looked for a new home. It was believed then that the Texans were uninterested due to lingering neck problems for Peyton.

This time, the issue is most likely age as Manning, who is 39 years old has had a stellar NFL career, but certainly is deep into the back nine of his playing life.

There is no denying that Peyton Manning is one of the best quarterbacks of all-time, but after losing steam down the stretch last year he is finally showing signs of aging. The fact Denver seems ready to move on should tell you enough about what he has left in the tank.

But rather than simply go on my word, I want to know if the Toro Times readers agree with the Texans decision to say “no thanks” on the sure fire Hall of Fame quarterback.
