Texans vs. Bengals, November 16th
In my eyes, the Bengals were the surprise team of last year. Andy Dalton came out and did very well, much better than anyone really expected him to do. Although they came to yet another halt in the playoffs, their regular season was successful.
It’s not clear if they can replicate the success they had in the regular season last year, but I’d be willing to bet they could put up a fight against the Texans.
Last year when these two teams met up in Houston, the Bengals were able to win 22-13. This year, the game is in Cincinnati, making it even harder for the Texans. They are, however, looking to get back at the Bengals for this loss, and certainly looking to win their harder games. This is a hard game in this portion of the schedule, and winning this one could lead to a large sum of consecutive wins.
Falling right in the middle of games with the Jaguars, Dolphins, Titans, and Jets, this is the game that is the most daunting within those few weeks. If they’re able to win this one, it could be a potential six real-time weeks without a loss with their bye week counted in. This is huge for morale, and could lead to an easy path to the playoffs later in the season.
