For the Houston Texans, it’s a matter of being on that bubble of making it into the playoffs. For the Texans, the playoffs have been a myth almost, only seeing four total playoff games in the time that their franchise has existed. It could be worse, they’ve at least been able to win 50% of these games.
Obviously, the final goal for many NFL teams is a Super Bowl win. Although many teams have two-year, four-year, or maybe even ten-year plans in order to get to that level of play, there’s no time like the present, especially for Houston. They’ve got players that time may be expiring on soon, like new Texan Vince Wilfork and running back Arian Foster.
In order to get to a level where they can be positioned to succeed in the postseason, or even make the postseason, there’s five games that are really must win games for the team. Although we’d love to see them win all 16, here’s a look at five that will set them up beautifully if they are able to win them.
