Not a new face, but a new position. Ben Jones moves to center from left guard after the team moved on from veteran center Chris Myers this offseason.

Some Background Info;

A fourth-round pick who started 27 of his 48 games after being a top rated center from the University Georgia. The fact that he was considered one of the best centers, but fell to round four says more about the league not properly valuing the position than it does Jones himself.

What To Expect This Year;

After being a center in college and being ranked high at that position by scouts, Jones should have no problem making the transition to being a full-time starting center. The 2011 second-team All-SEC player will be at home making the line calls for the unit, and does so at a cheaper price (and with younger legs) than the recently released Myers.
