Houston Texans Positional Breakdown: Wide Receiver

So far we have examined the state of the position of quarterback and running back for the Houston Texans. While things could look better for the team at quarterback, they seem to be pretty solid at running back, as long as their lead back Arian Foster stays healthy that is.
Now let’s look at another part of the offense, one which like the quarterback spot, has undergone some big changes as of late.
Wide Receiver
It will be strange to see receiver Andre Johnson on a different team after he spent 12 seasons with the Texans and was the face of the franchise for much of his tenure. However, as his age and salary continued to climb, the team had to make a decision and felt it was best to move forward now with a core of young guys at the wide out position.
