It’s Saturday morning and the rookie mini camp is underway. It’s an exciting time for fans to see the players recently selected in the draft wearing their team colors and going through workouts. With the camp underway let’s check out this rookie heavy morning round-up.

"No rookie will be watched closer on the practice field the next two days than receiver Jaelen Strong, the third-round pick from Arizona State. Strong (6-2, 217) knows the Texans have an opening opposite DeAndre Hopkins, but it’s too early to make a prediction about who’s going to fill the huge shoes of Andre Johnson, who was released and signed with Indianapolis."

"When Baylor coach Art Briles is in Houston and the Texans are on the practice field, he usually stops by for a visit. Briles, a big Bill O’Brien fan, spent about 45 minutes on the sideline during the first day of the rookie minicamp on Friday.“I like Bill a lot, and I like talking to him, but I didn’t want to bother him today because he was busy, and they were excited about the first day,” Briles said. “I was in town, and when I found out they were on the field, I headed over.”"
