Round 3: (A-) WR Jaelen Strong

School: Arizona State

Jaelen Strong, at one point was considered to be a first round, top tier receiver in the 2015 Draft. Due to the revealing of his wrist injury he suffered last year, possibly requiring surgery, he began to drop down draft boards across the league. The Texans did not seem to be bothered by it as again, they struck another deal to cut in line, this time with Rick Smith’s former understudy and now Jets general manager, Mike Maccagnan. Houston jumped ahead 12 picks and snagged Strong off the board and probably caused wideout DeAndre Hopkins to jump for joy, watching at home, now that he won’t bear the brunt of leading the Texans ariel attack, downfield.

The Houston bullpen probably didn’t mind the selection either.
