Round 3, 18th Pick: Kwon Alexander

An outside linebacker?! What about Jadeveon Clowney??

I know. Everyone is praying that Clowney recovers well from micro fracture surgery and he certainly has youth on his side as well as sky limiting potential, given the chance to play alongside both defensive MVP J.J. Watt and two time Super Bowl winner Vince Wilfork this year.

However, Should Clowney not produce or come back the same from injury, the Texans need a good insurance policy in place.

Even if Clowney comes back as the stud we all imagine him to be in our heads, (during my 2014 imaginary fantasy season, he recorded 173 combined sacks with J.J.) Alexander can always play over the middle next to a healthy Brian Cushing and Whitney Mercilus, as a run stopping trio.

No matter what, Kwon Alexander could come in the 2015 season and immediately make an impact on the special teams and gain some meaningful experience while giving us a little more insight as to what kind of NFL player he is going to turn out to be.
