The NFL Draft is a celebration of a life-long dream for the college players talented enough to be selected. Knowing you have a shot at hearing your name called during the first round has to be an exciting feeling for each player who was invited to take part in the festivities on draft day.
The NFL has confirmed the names of the players who will be in attendance, and surprisingly neither of the top quarterbacks (Florida State’s Jameis Winston or Oregon’s Marcus Mariota) will make the trip to Chicago’s Auditorium Theatre.
It may be a little awkward to have to wait through the first pick, or possibly two to see a player celebrate on stage, but nevertheless, here is a listing of the players who will be in attendance to listen for their names:
