Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts Game Named To NFL’s Top 20
Now that the regular season is over, NFL Digital Media is in the process of naming it’s Top 20 Games of 2014. Coming in at number 16 is the Houston Texans Week Six matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.
The Texans were coming off of heartbreaking 17-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys prior to heading back home to NRG Stadium on Thursday night, October 9, 2014. The Colts were hot off a three-game winning streak heading into the matchup against Houston. Both teams had a 3-2 record going into the primetime game.

Despite the 28-33 loss, the Texans would go on to finish 9-7 at the end of the season. barely missing the playoffs. The Colts would finish the year with an 11-5 record and would be knocked out of the postseason in the AFC Championship Game by the eventual Super Bowl winners, the New England Patriots.
Texans’ quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 15 of his 23 passes for 212 yards and one score against the Colts.
Indy quarterback Andrew Luck threw for 370 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in the victory.
Houston running back Arian Foster finished the day with 109 rushing yards and two scores.
But the day really belong to Colts’ wide recevier T.Y. Hilton, who caught all nine of his targets for 209 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Former Texans wide out Andre Johnson, who recently signed a free agent deal with Indianapolis, had seven receptions for 99 yards and one score in the loss.
